• The event is open for UG students.
• Each team should consist of 4 members.
• Any number of teams can participate in the event from one college.
• There will be preliminary rounds (puzzle, crosswords etc..) for selection. Only selected teams will be able to participate in the treasure hunt.
• This is a one-day programme.
• Every team should have a captain.
• Teams cannot split up once they get registered. That is, an entire team must stay together. It cannot split up to find different clues.
• The Treasure Hunt consists of clues, each one leading to the next clue.
• The clues are to be found in a particular order. A team cannot skip a clue. Skipping a clue leads to disqualification of the team.
• All the clues of the teams are different and located at different places but the final destination i.e. the treasure is same. The team which finds the treasure first wins.
• The team captain is entirely responsible for all works done by the team members.
• Help from the volunteers can be taken for knowing the places.
• MOBILE PHONES are strictly banned at the time of race.
• Any team seeking advice from people outside race will be disqualified.
• Arguing and violation of the rules could cause disqualification of the team.
• Any team that tries to physically obstruct the hunt for the other teams will be disqualified.
• There will be a time limit for the treasure hunt (starting time and a time to report to the finishing will be discussed and fixed).
• The decision of person in charge of the event will be final.
• Properties other than those provided by the organisers should not be used.
• Organizers are free to make any changes which will be informed prior to the competition.
